keep it locked to grime, a door is an inaminate object.
Posted by: curly whirly at April 2, 2004 02:13 AMMike Skinner in todays NME describing a track on his new album, called Get Out of My House: "The most garage track, an out and out grime rhythm."
On another note, Chris Ecclestone was on BBC this morning talking bout Dr Who and he says his assistant will be called Rosie and "both his hearts will be broken."
He also says the new Who will use sci-fi metaphor to comment on today's "society".
chris eccleston or whatever is one of those annoying pricks who is an 'intense actor' i.e. he is rubbish but because he whatevers blah blah for the part and his wanky eyes bulge out when he is angry everyone at BBC goes OHHHH LA LA LA...he is a young ian curtis.
Posted by: tits_&_apes at April 5, 2004 03:12 AMNow then, where do we start with this piece of wisdom from our wonderfully named correspondent, people?
Let's start with facts. Eccleston a young Ian Curtis? Eccleston is currently 40. Ian Curtis died at the age of about 23. You can see where I'm going here, can't you?
And, like, being compared with Ian Curtis is a bad thing is it?
As for Eccleston's acting ability, that would be a matter of opinion; I happen to think he's been excellent in most things in which I've seen him, most notably The Second Coming and Cracker. He's certainly not, as far as I'm aware, a method actor.
