k-punk

this and the previous, related post are easily the most sad pathetic pieces of (ironically, deliberately or otherwise) unreconstructed moronism yet to appear on k-p. More pernicious than the dismissive jibes about art, because sexual politics matters far more, and because I know that k-p knows that. Here you're not only lapping up what the media serves you, you're also, along with a pretentiously laddish self-definition, cultivating a _deliberate lack of thought_ or care about how these attitudes make k-p look (not that that's my business, if you want to come across as a twat), or what the behaviour means and what it reinforces.
Maybe it's just me who thinks there's enough casual stupidity in the world (especially in this arena, and especially on the web) without people who aren't stupid adding to it.
I realise it's a mere ineffectual symbolic gesture but all I can do to supress this sinking feeling of disappointment, revulsion, anger and acute embarrassment is to follow marcello and remove my link to k-p at least until this lot has sunk into well-deserved obscurity.
